lawd i HATE this shit, & it always comes from that same fool talmbout “my parents were poor immigrants too they couldn’t afford slaves!” when the only thing you did to mention slavery was to be black.
And when you remind them mahfuckas that your family WASN’T immigrants but cargo, then they’re looking at you crazy like there’s something wrong with you.
Done raised my blood pressure all up & it’s not even 9am.
long story short, every brown person should vow to answer the “but where are you from?” question with, “DON’T WORRY BOUT WHERE THE FUCK I’M FROM NIGGA (I insist that you call them this) WERRBOUTCHASELF!”
